Private tutor in Lexington, SC

Education

Junior Sociology/Psychology Major at the Honors College at the University of South Carolina

Experience

I have previous tutoring experience for those in psychology, sociology, English, Spanish, ACT/SAT prep, AP exam preparation and students with learning disabilities on all grade levels. In high school, I was the valedictorian of over 500 students in my graduating class. I received high ACT/SAT scores and have taken and passed 10 different AP tests. I want to be a tutor because I intend on being a teacher and tutoring is a good way to nurture my teaching abilities as an undergraduate. I have an effective and adaptive teaching style and I can deliver information to students with many different learning styles and/or disabilities.

Currently, I work in a footwear department at a major sporting goods store. Understanding the bio-mechanics of the body and helping people find the right shoe for their foot is something I really enjoy. In my free time, I am an avid weight lifter. I also enjoy singing, going to concerts, and visiting my family.
